As I've gotten older, I've enjoyed giving Christmas gifts more and more. Even though most of the gifts I purchase don't cost a lot, I try to make a memorable impact with the gifts I give, and that's something I always look forward to when I'm shopping.
One of my favorites things to buy is either mini candy bars or ramen noodles. I like to buy these because you can get a good number of them pretty inexpensively. Then, I find creative ways to wrap each of them. Sometimes I'll wrap one pack of noodles and put it in a shoebox, another time I may wrap two packs together and tie it with a ribbon. I also like to get prank gift boxes like the Prank Pack Nap Sack, Prank Pack 12,000 Piece Puzzle, or the Prank Pack Sizzl. These are always a hit, and it's fun shopping for these gifts because I get to anticipate the fun and laughs we will share.
In Disney's new movie The Nutcracker and the Four Realms, which releases in theaters on November 2nd, all Clara (Mackenzie Foy) wants is a key – a one-of-a-kind key that will unlock a box that holds a priceless gift. A golden thread, presented to her at godfather Drosselmeyer’s (Morgan Freeman) annual holiday party, leads her to the coveted key—which promptly disappears into a strange and mysterious parallel world. It’s there that Clara encounters a soldier named Phillip (Jayden Fowora-Knight), a gang of mice and the regents who preside over three Realms: Land of Snowflakes, Land of Flowers and Land of Sweets. Clara and Phillip must brave the ominous Fourth Realm, home to the tyrant Mother Ginger (Helen Mirren), to retrieve Clara’s key and hopefully return harmony to the unstable world. Starring Keira Knightley as the Sugar Plum Fairy, Disney’s new holiday feature film “The Nutcracker and the Four Realms” is directed by Lasse Hallström and Joe Johnston, and inspired by E.T.A. Hoffmann’s classic tale.
To give you a taste of the movie, here is the new music video featuring Andrea Bocelli and his 20-year-old son Matteo Bocelli singing the beautifully poignant “Fall on Me” from the movie.
