About this Book
The dangerous beauty of Lavender Tides is harboring secrets that reach around the world.
Ellie Blackmore is making a name for herself as a house flipper. But when her sister Mackenzie disappears, Ellie can’t focus on anything but uncovering what happened. Her only clue is the bloodstain on the deck of Mackenzie’s boat. Ellie knows her sister isn’t on the best of terms with her ex-husband, Jason, but he wouldn’t kill her—would he?
Coast Guard intelligence officer Grayson Bradshaw believes Mackenzie faked her own death after stealing a seized cocaine shipment. The problem is convincing Ellie, who seems to view him as the true enemy.
Both Ellie and Grayson want truth, but truth—and family—is often more complex than it first appears. From international terrorism to the peaceful lavender fields of Puget Sound, The House at Saltwater Point is a thrilling race to uncover the truth before it’s too late.

I’ve been hooked on Colleen Coble’s new series, Lavender Tides, since reading the first book. I even made sure I read the novella, Leaving Lavender Tides, before reading this book because I was so engaged by the character’s and their story.
The House at Saltwater Point lets us reconnect with Zach and Shauna as well as new characters Ellie and Grayson. Ellie is a house flipper and reminded me a lot of Joanna Gaines from Fixer Upper. Grayson is a Coast Guard intelligence officer.
As we learned in the two previous books, Shauna has siblings that she hasn’t known in many years, family members who don’t know about Shauna. In between the underlying mystery of what happened to MacKenzie, is a surprising revelation when Shauna tries to convince someone that she is their sister.
After waiting for months to read this book, I’m highly anticipating the next installment. My favorite books in this series are still the first one and the novella, but this was a good read that kept me engaged and wanting to find out what happened.
