Get ready to be captured by a decades-old missing persons case mixed with a sweet, brewing romance in Becky Wade’s Falling for You!
Willow Bradford is a model but decided to take a break from her schedule to work as an innkeeper at her family’s bed-and-breakfast. While she is working at the B&B, she runs into Corbin Stewart, a former NFL player, who Willow hates because of their past romantic relationship.
Spunky, twelve-year-old Charlotte learns about a decades-old missing persons case and convinces Willow and Corbin to help her solve the case. The mystery element is woven perfectly through the story. As the group works together to try and solve the mystery, Willow and Corbin are forced to confront their past.
Wade wove this story together perfectly with the right balance of romance, tension, and mystery and wrote a book I did not want to put down!
Typically, I don’t care for books that are suspenseful with a lot of romance because I want to focus on the mystery. In Falling for You, I LOVED the romantic aspect of this story as much as I did in solving the mystery. Corbin was a character in this book and took Willow by surprise. As their relationship developed, I found myself connecting more and more with them. Wade transported me right into the pages of this book and left me profoundly anticipating whatever she writes next.
