Thank you to Grace Hill Media for sponsoring this post for what looks to be a good movie.

This weekend (March 9th) Disney's A Wrinkle in Time comes to theaters. It comes from visionary director Ava DuVernay and is an epic adventure based on Madeleine L’Engle’s timeless classic that takes audiences across dimensions of time and space, examining the nature of darkness versus light, good versus evil and, ultimately, the triumph of love. The film stars Reese Witherspoon, Oprah, Mindy Kaling, Chris Pine, and Storm Reid as “Meg Murry.”

Since the movie is based on a children's book by the same title, I started thinking about what children's book I'd like to see made into a movie. The first book I thought of was Sideways Stories from Wayside School by Louis Sachar.

I know there were countless books I could choose and this one technically was made into a movie (I just found that out, but it was just a cartoon). I picked this book because it was one my teacher read to my class in fourth grade, right before school was out for the day. I remember sitting at my desk, ready to go home, but laughing as my teacher would read the story to us. I think it would make for a fun and entertaining movie.

What about you? What children's book would you like to see made into a movie?
