Conspiracy of Silence by Ronie Kendig is the first book I have read by this author. I had heard great things about her books, so when I heard her new series Tox Files was coming out I was really excited to give it a try.
In Conspiracy of Silence we are four years after a tragic mission that decimated the career of Cole “Tox” Russell and his team. He is now persona non grata to the United States. He is fine with this, but then a centuries old disease is unleashed and Tox is pulled back into action.
There is a lot of suspense in this story, which I really enjoyed. I also enjoyed the historical aspects of this book. It was interesting how the author wove biblical elements into this fictional story and brought the centuries old disease into the story.
I really enjoyed Kendig’s newest book and I’m really looking forward to the next installment in this series.
