Get ready to be whisked away to Brighton Kingdom in A Royal Christmas Wedding by Rachel Hauck.

In this story, it has been five years since Avery Truitt and Prince Colin fell in love. However, Colin broke her heart in the past with no explanation.

The story picks up with Colin being Brighton’s most eligible bachelor. Avery returned to her home in Georgia to help her mom with the family restaurant. Her mother misses Avery’s sister, Susanna, who lives in Brighton Kingdom and is expecting her first child. So Avery and her mom head to Brighton Kingdom to spend the Christmas season.

While I didn’t read the previous books in the series, this book was enjoyable. There were a few times when I thought I would have better understood the story if I had read the other books. That said, I still found the storyline to be interesting.

I enjoyed the characters and the way Hauck brought their personalities to life. I could feel the struggles they faced and enjoyed the overall story.
